Privacy

This page explains what Noise Limited collects through this website and the member portal, why, where it is kept, and how to have it deleted.

What we collect

From the website forms: your name, email, company or location, and what you write. From the member portal: your Google account name, email and picture; your profile, availability and payout details; the documents you upload (a CV and an identity document); and your weekly updates, hours, invoices and reviews. We do not use advertising trackers or cookies to count visits: Vercel Web Analytics counts page views without cookies and without identifying you (the page, the referring site, and your country and device type).

Why

  • To reply to your brief, message or application
  • To check members' identity and skills, match them to projects and pay them
  • To keep a record of what was agreed and paid

Where it is stored

In a database hosted by MongoDB Atlas on Amazon Web Services in the United States. Uploaded documents are stored privately with Backblaze B2, emails are sent through Resend, project enquiries are screened with Google's Gemini API (which also reads the company website you give us), and the website runs on Vercel. Only Noise Limited admins can open identity documents, every view is logged, and identity documents are deleted 30 days after the check.
